For the Go Beyond Grades campaign in New York City, we conducted a survey of K-12 public school parents in New York City to get a better understanding of parent mindsets, worries, and beliefs about their children’s education. The survey highlights parent perceptions of their child’s grade level achievement based on their belief that good grades equal grade level mastery, and includes perceptions of parents with children who learn differently.
